Experiences

Dine, rest, gather.

The pool is finished: thirty-five metres of still water on the edge of the ridge.

Dining

A table on the ridge.

A restaurant and bar with the valley in front of them, a barbecue terrace for long evenings, and a food street and coffee lounge to come in the second phase. The kitchen will cook from Rwanda's gardens: highland vegetables, lake fish, coffee and tea from the hills you can see.

The health club under construction

Wellness

Water, air and quiet.

The central pool, step pools fed by a cascade, and a health club with a gym and spa rooms set into the hillside. At 1,800 metres the air is cool and clear, and most mornings begin above the mist.

The amphitheatre terraces

Gatherings

An amphitheatre under the open sky.

Grass terraces cut into the slope for music, film and storytelling with the valley as the backdrop, an event garden for celebrations, and meeting rooms for small conferences and retreats away from the city.

Beyond the ridge

Rwanda, from here.

Kigali

Ten kilometres to the centre: the Genocide Memorial, Kimironko market, the arts district and the city's restaurants.

The gorillas

The Kigali–Goma road passes 150 metres from our gate, the way to Volcanoes National Park and Lake Kivu.

Day trips

Nyungwe's canopy walk, Akagera's savannah and the lake shore are each a day's outing. We will arrange guides and drivers.
